		<description>The CBC interviewed the British junior transport minister a few weeks back, about the fact that he rode to work all the time but refused to wear a helmet.  Among other points he made, he also commented that the insistence on helmets and other safety measures made cycling appear more dangerous than it really is, thereby discouraging people from cycling, when in fact even without a helmet it was a safer form of transport than driving.

I also like his line “Well I’m a minister for cycling, and I set an example by cycling. I’m not actually the safety minister&quot;</description>
